Industrial census 1896
Publication of the results
The results were published in 18 bulky volumes. The first was printed in 1898 and the last in 1901. An atlas with 23 maps also appeared; it visualised several basic statistics per municipality.
The Ministry also used the census forms for in-depth studies. Between 1899 and 1909 it published 10 monographs that were dedicated to the various cottage industries and that released additional statistics from 1896.
